I don't understand why people go to Cici's pizza. The price of the buffet and drink is actually kind of high for the quality of food. There was hardly any pizza available, and since people cannot control their children, this place was a complete mess. Clearly the staff here does not realize that if you have a really messy customer, you have to clean up more often. There was food on almost every table, the floor was covered in leftovers and I was pretty sure I was going to catch something just sitting down in a chair. I recommend you definitely go somewhere else!!

CiCi's pizza is summed up by the time I went with some friends and there was a baby shower in the special room with the proud dad wearing a t-shirt with sperm on it that said "My Guys Did It". Obviously, it's the epitome of classy dining. Besides the upper-crust patrons, CiCi's has a lot of food for not much money. The buffet is only $4.99 for all-you-can-stuff-in-your-face-you-disgusting-glutton. It's less for children. It's like an additional $2 for a drink which is kind of a rip off, but less than $7 isn't that bad. SALAD BAR - The salad bar is nothing fancy but decent. It's got iceberg and romaine. It's got your standard vegetables, cheese, croutons and bacon bits. There is a bevy of salad dressings to choose from. PASTA BAR - It should hardly be called a bar. Normally it's marinara with cavitappi or fettuccini. There used to be alfredo but that's been replaced by chicken noodle soup. I find that very strange and I don't like it. The sauce is decent and tastes good with the bread sticks which brings us to the main attraction... PIZZA BAR - The pizza is all a standard traditional crust. There are normally about 10 different pizzas out at a time. I like the macaroni & cheese pizza, the spinach pizza and the barbecue chicken pizza. There are breadsticks and a "pizza flip" which is a pizza folded in half, baked and cut into pieces. DESSERT BAR - The end of the line has desserts and normally it's an apple crumble thing, an undercooked brownie thing and a cinnamon roll thing. All of these are surprisingly good. BEVERAGE BAR - There is unlimited refills on soda and I think it's Coke products. I have to say the biggest disappointment was the discontinuation of the little cheesy garlicky bread knot chunks that they used to have. They were so soft and chewy and greasy and wonderful. Now there are gone. I really don't know if I'd go back since they no longer exist. The staff has always been attentive and very friendly. They'll make you a specific pizza if you ask them nicely. There are two televisions and one always plays sports and the other plays weird cartoons. There's a "game room" with video games, and claw games. If you have 18 children, or you are really hungry, or you like people watching, you should come here.

I look at Cici's like a guilty pleasure. It's like 7 bucks for as much as you can eat pizza, salad, pasta, soda, and dessert. The quality is okay. . . I don't ever think of it as real pizza, like i could eat here and then order a pizza the following evening for dinner and still think of them as two different entities all together. What really is the icing on the cake (or cinnamon roll) at Cici's is the opportunity for people watching--it's almost dinner theatre. What you can expect on the salad bar is: mixed greens and romaine lettuces, carrots, mushrooms, onions, cheese, cucumber, olives, bacon bits, croutons, etc. It's kind of your basic assortment of items plus maybe 6 dressing options or so. The pasta bar has cavatapi--like overgrown macaroni that curls--and marinara sauce. There used to always be alfredo sauce too but most recently the warmer that housed our dear friend alfredo has been taken over by none other than chicken soup. I don't get it, nor do I want. Looking at the star of the show, the pizza, they will rotate their selection including such basics as pepperoni, cheese, white, spinach, veggie, meaty, and a macaroni and cheese concoction. Cici's also used to have the most amazing cheese bread that never seemed to be cooked all the way through but was amazing regardless. After dining today and noticing a lack of this cheese bread delicacy we inquired and were shocked to hear they are no longer serving it. I think this is playing into my rating of 3 stars versus 4. Dessert is also pretty tasty, consisting of almost raw cinnamon rolls, undercooked but delicious brownies, and an apple crisp cobbler pizza. They have coke products, iced tea, and a coffee pot that never seems to have coffee contained in its precious vessel. The staff is usually friendly but it makes you wonder about how happy they really can be working at a pizzateria. How much Nick Jr. can someone stomach while clearing away remains of unwanted pizza? I really enjoyed when one of the workers shouted, "Cici ya' later!" as we departed. If you're inclined there's also a game room, aka. a few video games and air hockey for kids to amuse themselves. There's also a party room that I think is available for rental for private parties like Bar Mitzvahs, wedding receptions, and/or support groups. I will admit that I eat here more often than I should admit but as I said before, it's a guilty pleasure, it's cheap, and it's always an adventure.

It's a Pizza Buffet that draws a very lively crowd. If you're looking for a quiet, intimate dining experience... ABORT MISSION NOW!! This is not that place. But if you're looking for a great cost/quality ratio and/or fun for the kids; this place won't disappoint. Just remember the place will be full of people looking for the same thing!

After a long hiatus, it was nice to make a second trip to CiCi's. Although originally 4.30, the current buffet price is 5.75 w/tax (6.10) and this is just with water. It was very crowded when we went there and for the price, there is simply a stunning amount of variety. Probably 20 or the 35 some available pizzas are out at one time, salad bar, few desserts (cinnamon rolls and brownies), those garlic cheese breadsticks. Pizza is decent. Each slice can be finished in two or three bites so stock up. Place is generally clean. Definitely a bargain for your buck!!

I used to LOVE Cici's. The one by my house closed, so I was especially excited to eat here at this location, which I don't visit very often. As soon as I walked in I remembered why I haven't been there for quite some time. The entire restaurant was dirty and grimy. The salad and pasta / sauce buffet was clean, but once you get to the pizza buffet, there was cheese and crumbs everywhere. The restaurant was also pretty busy, had about 15 tables full, yet they hardly had any pizza out. Clearly they were either understaffed or behind on making pizzas. As soon as they brought a pizza out tons of customers were trying to get in to get a slice. The pizza, breadsticks and dessert I had were good - no complaints. Just how I remembered the food. Their pizza has small slices but good quality ingredients. The beverage station was messy, as well as the tables/booth seats. A few of the booth seats are worn so bad that more than 50% of the seat's cover is ripped off. It's been like this for a few years. I am sad to say I will never come back here again. Please be warned of how unsanitary and sticky this place is. American Pie is the best pizza buffet!

The pizza was good but the drinks sucked and they don't offer coffee in the evening for some reason. We have had good "busboy" service in the past, but tonight the the plates stacked up to the roof. The kids enjoyed the game room, though. And the price is right at 6 bucks a piece. Salad and pizza all you can eat included plus desert. I think this place is normally better, just off their game tonight.

Yes. I am a fan. Like everyone else says, you get what you pay for! 5.50 for whatever you want and as much as you want? Deffo! Buffalo Chicken, Extra Thin Veggie Pizza, and the Mac n Cheese Pizza! Those are the best ones. And you can ask them to make one for you with other things. They have bacon, sausage and other toppings too. I get a bowl of pasta noodles and extra alfredo sauce so that I can dip my crust in there too. Mmmm. Eat your heart out. Their chicken noodle soup is good too, but I always modify mine. Haha. I add a few extra things like mushrooms and add a little bit of the alfredo sauce to make it taste creamy. It's so much better like that! Their pasta salad is good too! But make sure to add just a little bit of the italian dressing over it because it may be a little dry from sitting so long. I always top mine off with some extra olives and cheese. Now, if you hate kids or dont like seeing parents yelling at their children or anything like that, then maybe it's not the place for you. I've seen this one lady yell at her 5 and 7 year old kids because they were misbehaving. It's a family place. All kinds of people may walk in and different noise levels are there throughout the times of the day. But I really dont understand why they have music playing (ahem... Katy Perry's Teenage Dream...) AND have the TV on at the same time? Combine those with the noise of children talking... yikes! But nonetheless, its a great place to eat till you explode for just a few bucks! If you have kids or are a crowd, come here and get your pizza game on. Note: Don't expect gourmet or exotic pizza. If you just wanna stuff your face, then come.

Let's be honest, Cici's is a cheap all you can eat "pizza" buffet. As with everything else "you get what you pay for" and you are not paying very much so don't expect too much. With that said CiCi's is my 6 year olds favorite place to eat where else can you get her 2 favorite foods in one item? (Mac and Cheese pizza) plus it's cheap and close to home. Now, if you are a yelp user and have read the reviews and still eat here well it's buyer beware, stop complaining! Pay your $5.50, eat the pizza that is no worse than a $5.00 Little Ceasers pizza, enjoy the people watching and make sure you try the Big Mac pizza.

The gentleman who was in charge of making garlic bread was an artist and hands-down, the bread was the highlight of the meal. Job well done sir. For the money, it fills a need. Where else can you stuff the gut for $5.00? Pizza quality is sub-par if you fancy yourself a pizza snob. However, I have a standing notion that there is no such thing as awful pizza but rather some are better than others. Some are better than Cici's. We did try their mac-n-cheese pizza which was probably the best pizza offering. Different, not great but not too bad either. We went. We tried. We probably won't return particularly when Green Lantern is just down the street.

Gross. We went went here for my daughter's birthday last night. I tried to talk her out of it, but the idea of an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet is too awesome for a 6 year old to pass up. The salad bar is flavorless, most of the pizza is cold/been sitting out forever, the breadsticks were hard and bland, etc. It was clean enough, but still kind of dingy looking. After eating, all three of us had terrible stomachaches, which doesn't say much for the quality of the food. Plus, it's the gathering place of the weird, much like Las Vegas. Run down families, teenagers on first dates...and me, there against my will. Hopefully when my kid turns 7, she'll want to go somewhere better for her birthday meal.

This is one of the last CICI's open in Michigan. At one time there was nearly 50 open in Michigan and they all but closed down. Why have they closed down? Quite frankly, the food is hideous, and these are generally fairly dirty places. I DO NOT blame Cici's I blame the franchise owners. The reason is I have gone to Cici's in Ohio and TN, and both were actually quite good, with attentative staff, and fairly decent food! The Michigan restaurants failed because a faulty franchise in my opinion. $5 isn't a bad deal, and the salad bar is passable, but don't plan on pizza that is any good. It tastes a bit like cardboard! I think the only reason this place seems to still be around is Madison Heights is pretty low income, and they have some local regulars which keep lining up to come here. Keep that in mind when coming here - the patrons are pretty downtrodden...

There are only two CiCi's in the metro Detroit area, apparently - this one and Grand Blanc. I've been wanting to try this one for a while ever since I moved to nearby Troy, and today some friends and I went here before a movie at the AMC John R. The food quality was a lot better than I thought it would be, based on these reviews and ones I read on Foursquare. My favorite pizzas were the chicken/mushroom, with some sort of white sauce, the BBQ, and the standard pepperoni. I also really liked their breadsticks, and for dessert they had some sort of danish pizza (pizza with danish-type cheese?), cinnamon rolls, and brownies. The brownies were weirdly salty tasting but it worked (sweet/salty combo). If you sign up for their e-club they send you a buy 1 get 1 free coupon with purchase of a drink, it was like $6.80 for 2 of us! Can't beat that. The restaurant was clean enough, too (re: that 1-star review on here) and the staff was pleasant and greeted us as we walked in. You can't beat $5 for a pizza buffet, I will definitely be back!

I have only been to a Cici's one other time in my life, and I thought that was enough to last me forever...but they recently offered a deal on one of the deal sites...and my toddler son loves pizza...so I thought I'd pick up a cheap dinner. To start, I just don't get the separate entrances--one for takeout and one for the buffet. They both shoot you to the exact same spot, with the buffet door adding a few extra steps. It's stupid if you ask me. The service was friendly and they took our coupon nicely. They had a decent selection of pizzas...but half of them were dried out. But they were fairly consistent with putting out fresh pizzas, so you really just had to wait a few minutes for one of those. I like that they have a salad bar, but it certainly wasn't anything to write home about--a handful of toppings and dressings--with the back row of ingredients almost too far to reach comfortably. The desserts actually weren't too bad, either. The best (scariest?) part was people watching. Wow. What a selection of people. So overall it was edible and the price was right (especially with our deal coupon) but we've definitely experienced better. Ahhhh, the things we do for our kids...

Ok, so I like a good meal. I am a bit of a foodie. This place is getting 4 stars not in comparison to other pizza joints I like but in comparison to how in the heck can I not give it that or higher for CHEAP all you can eat pizza buffet? My favorite pizza is the bbq chicken. I love thier breadsticks and although I have never tried them, my husband and kids swear by the cinnamon rolls. There is always a bust boy coming around cleaning off the table. The owner as well as another really nice man who said he has been employed there about 8 months kept checking back at our table to see if there were any special pizzas they could make for us. I'm sorry but for the price you will not find a complaint out of me other than I didn't give it 5 stars (remember, I am rating based on the alll you can eat for cheap categorty) because I am not a fan of the salad bar (but I do love the pasta salad!!!!). Thank you for making a small birthday lunch gathering last Saturday for a family of 7 of us of all ages an enjoyable experience!!

Weve lost interest. CiCi's used to be located at gratiot and 14 mile. Next to Dooley..RedWindShoes. Now this is the closest location and it takes 20 mins to get here. We stopped coming for a while but had a taste for it. The one manager there is SO lazy! He seems fine at the register but if you ask anything..useless! The other manager is amazing. Goes out of his way to make you happy but, this manager is about the ONLY thing good here now. The last 3 trips have been horrendous! The useless manager tends to open whenever he feels like it. Im attributing that to he woke up late and didnt get his duties done. The one time this happened he said he had to run to the bank. Excuse me fore being here when you open and waiting 35min and being upset about it! DO YOUR JOB!! The 1 time we went they had a party, im guessing a school lunch trip, they were EVERYWHERE! Multiple children ALWAYS running to the bathroom. Screaming and justt being brats! Theyd hang around the buffet and drink machine and eat or drink. GO SIT DOWN! Now i know not ALL of this is CiCi's but some is. They need to say something. What a joke! The last time we went and itll be the LAST time fore a long time that we'll go, They had opened late. Had nothing on the buffet for 20mins. I put in a request for ZESTY ham and cheddar MY FAV!! The girl looked at me like i was crazy. She sorta, laugh/giggled and nodded. They started putting up pizzas on the buffet. They were gone so quick. They really couldnt keep up! 35min after putting my req in and still havent eating anything i asked for my money back!.. She thought i was kidding!! I said no seriously i want my money back. She grabbed the manager. I explained what happened and she went oops. SHE FORGOT!!! She thought it was funny! I said well.. i was on my lunch break. Ive gotta get back to work i dont get out till 6 and i haven't eaten. Thank you! SHE DIDNT CARE!!! Ive also noticed that theyre putting limits on requests!? What is that?! Last time i will visit THIS location!

The sheer size of some of the people was intimidating not to mention the tact some used to get to the buffet as if the food was going to run out. I left the restaurant a bit disappointed in society but was very impressed that the company can make money only charging $6 for an all you can eat pizza buffet. The food itself wasn't too bad but I wasn't really expecting too much to begin with. I'd go again if maybe I hadn't eaten for a couple of days and was looking to feast, or maybe if I find myself alone on Thanksgiving and really want to go to town.

Went back a second time, and decided I liked it even more. It was Friday near dinner time and they were cranking out the pizza's, everything was hot and fresh. I'm serious, this pizza is actually not bad. They actually had a busser come clear our table twice and he was very polite, I even tipped him when we left. Another thing I like about this place is that they let you get your own refills on soda, instead of having to wait on a server, since service at a buffet is never great anyway. Still sticking to my guns on my comments about some the patrons there. Come up with a word more cutting and description than "gross", and I'll use it in a poem on my next update about Cici's.

I would say this place is the definition of "meh." You get what you pay for here - mediocrely okay food, and tons of it. The pizza is subpar, and their dessert items are their strongest attribute IMHO. I had never been to a Cici's before this and have not returned since. I think it has its place and certainly deserves to exist - if I were a little kid I bet I'd love it here XD The atmosphere was part of what made the experience less than orgasmic - there were kids running everywhere and parents making loudish futile attempts to control them... This is perfectly understandable though as I'm sure this is Cici's target consumer base. Just not sure I'll be stopping in again soon. :)

We were excited to check out CiCis after seeing commercials on TV. I thought it would be a great place for an inexpensive meal with the family. It is inexpensive and the pizza is ok, but I was not overly impressed with the lack of cleanliness at this location. Everything was kind of sticky and it looks like no one has ever performed a thorough cleaning of this store. I felt really grossed out. The food itself was good as long as you are eating the pizza. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce out of a bag and some topping, but not much if you are looking to get some nutritional value out of the meal. The range of pizza types was impressive and they were good, but not great.

If your looking for a cheap pizza joint, this place is it. Feed an army on the low ball budget. Pizza is not the best in the world, but you get what you pay for. Very pleasant atmosphere and very clean facilities. Don't take a first date there, take the kids though.

Cici's is worth the price of admission. The pizza is a little better then a party store pizza. They have a decent square pizza that they put out every 20-30 minutes, and the they really push out the rounds. The toppings they use are ok, but I'm sure they could do better. The bread sticks are tasty, the kids dip them in so much sauce they wouldn't know the difference. You can keep the salad bar, and the impostor ranch. The desserts are good, they have a brownie they bake off, but the cinnabun inspired bread sticks are a winner winner chicken dinner every time. One day I will have to try American Pie so I can compare the two.

Stay away. Had numerous things on different occasions stolen by bus boys that should not have been hired in the first place. We had to involve Madison Heights police and ended up getting him arrested for Larceny. The whole place all employees including the manager stuck up for him until police demanded to see video tape. We pressed charges and he was arrested., The point is for there poor quality of food getting all you can eat pizza for $5 is not worth getting a $100 phone stolen from you while you are eating. Go get a Hot N Ready! Cheaper Faster Better And Safer!!!!!!!

OK, I admit it. I committed a crime against foodies everywhere. But let me explain. I had to be in Madison Heights today and I dreamed of that delicious Pho at Thuy Trang. I drove there and it was closed on Tuesdays. EEK! Now what? John R is a sea of fast food nightmares. So I saw the sign for CiCis and thought; "Hmm five bucks. Well the commercials look good..." So in a moment of temporary insanity, I found my car making an uncontrolled left turn into their parking lot. I went in. There it was: Pizza Hell. A long buffet of cold congealed greasy undercooked dough with ersatz cheese on top. And the salad bar had endless delights like bacon flavored bits and chemical treated raw vegetables. Well I tried a few slices and left, covering my face so I would never be recognized.. The Diet Coke wasn't bad. But the Pizza was mostly cold and dead and of the lowest possible quality. That was a dumb move. There are plenty of decent places within driving range and even Mickey D's would have been better than that. Putooey!

this is a cumulative review as I was sitting here thinking about Pizza. Most everyone has preconceived notions about buffets, pizza, fast food. CiCi attempts to fracture those ideas and attempts to offer the regular Joe/Jane Q Public - delicious & quick food for a quality price. Yes there is always some good ol boys in there, and sometimes some odd families with a dozen screaming kids, but the 3 or 4 times I've visited the place I was generally pleased by the offerings. One of my favorites is there is more than just pizza... they offer dessert pizza, and the last time I visited there was a couple pasta dishes and what looked like a mini salad bar. Anytime I can get a quick lunch for less than $7 a person I am happy. Nothing there is earth shatteringly awesome. But its nice that its clean in there. Last visit however I was not impressed with the bathroom. it needed some cleaning and I was a little grossed out. I blame the 3 kids sitting at a table 10ft away with what I thought was their mom and aunt. 3 rowdy boys making a mess everywhere they went. one had spilled a pop on floor in the dining room and another had ran around with straws and napkins throwing them in the air. I cannot blame CiCi's for that but its just the type of people who are often there. I informed one of the workers of the mess of pop/ice on the floor near the Soda Fountain and they never came to clean/mop it up.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

The taste was decent, Pretty good for its 6$ price. I will go again if possible, but, will consider other options before that, PS. The staff inside were not wearing gloves when making pizza( if you are looking into hygiene a lot.)

(2)Rina S.
A very bad service, mean and rude people,I'm never going to come back! I wish I can give them a zero star.
(1)Chris P.
(3)Rajon M.
Yes.
(4)Michele B.
(4)Neil Y.
First let me say that the people who work here are incredibly nice and seem to like working at Cici's. Always nice to see that and it was truly a highlight of the trip.
(2)Rebecca C.
Gross. We went went here for my daughter's birthday last night. I tried to talk her out of it, but the idea of an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet is too awesome for a 6 year old to pass up. The price was nice (dinner for 3 of us was around $16 or so)..but that's about it.

This is not pizza! I'm not sure what it is but it's not Pizza. Go get a real pizza there's lots of them around.
(2)Jimmy R.

(4)Robert C.

(3)Clete B.
If your looking for a cheap pizza joint, this place is it. Feed an army on the low ball budget. Pizza is not the best in the world, but you get what you pay for. Very pleasant atmosphere and very clean facilities. Don't take a first date there, take the kids though.
(3)Pauly G.

(1)Richard F.

(4)Despina T.
(2)Naveen Nishanth N.
The taste was decent, Pretty good for its 6$ price. I will go again if possible, but, will consider other options before that, PS. The staff inside were not wearing gloves when making pizza( if you are looking into hygiene a lot.)
(2)Antwanette B.
(3)Rina S.
A very bad service, mean and rude people,I'm never going to come back! I wish I can give them a zero star.

First let me say that the people who work here are incredibly nice and seem to like working at Cici's. Always nice to see that and it was truly a highlight of the trip.
(1)Chris P.
(3)Rajon M.
Yes.
(4)Michele B.
